Any drag racers use a launch controller to build boost off the line?

Plenty - but some of our controllers come kinda expensive! LOL Grin Grin Grin Plus with carbs, your stuck with a good old two step limiter so not really launch control ie. you can't anti lag / boost! Wink

That one won't work with a cdi box.

yes , that's right . the dyna box and even the msd box are inductive type . perhaps you should think of a change over from the cdi or just make the best of what you have .

I guess you're limited by whats available? You might be able to re-work a Dyna S and only use one pick-up then you can use the full range of Dyna or MSD accessories!
Alternatively wire a small nitrous hit into the clutch switch with a timer so you get a small hit the moment you drop the clutch that switches off after say 0.5 - 1 second? That should get the turbo spinning Wink

Good ideal.

I have a boost switch on my water/meth injection. The switch has a normally open and a normally closed connection. I can hook my nitrous up to the normally open and it will cut off at 6psi when my water/meth injection turns on.
