Hey Kat, I'm going to make it out to at least a couple events this year so maybe we can hook up and I got to say your GS is way too cool to pass on. I say sit on it for a bit longer, in the end you'll be glad you still have it!!

@ katracer168: canīt believe it, on my holiday trip through Canada and the USA in our RV we visited Mission racetrack in 2006, i was very impressed to say the least, because we donīt get that many professional bikes and riders here in Austria !
Was really a great weekend !
I even got myself some CAMDRA-shirts back then

Sounds good Maggotbreath! If you (or any other oldskoolers!!) can make it out to the bike drags that would be cool! The date for the 'CMDRA all bike drags' in Mission, B.C. this year is aug. 22-23.
I love going to Mission, with the sea-level air I always bring home a nice time slip!
And the CMDRA runs a very well-organized, entertaining show with tons of top-quality bikes and riders in every class.
WOW! FJD, thats cool you attended the bike drags in Mission in '06! It is a small world man. In '06 I was still on my '00 'Busa. I 'retired' the 'Busa after '06 and went back to my old-skool stuff!
Mission, B.C. is a 15+ hour drive for me, one way! It is always worth the trip!
Here's a short vid from the CMDRA (2005);

I do have a complete brand new Mr.Turbo draw through system, with a Garrett turbo, HSR42, etc. that is suppose to go onto my '81 GS1100E project. and I've actually had thoughts of selling the system?
does this system fit on an oil-cooled engine?
If yes, please sell it to me

Hey Captain Chaos, I don't know if it will fit an oil cooled engine? The part # is different, but I would think it could be adapted? The plenum should bolt on, not sure about the header though?
BUT! I am still not sure about selling it yet though. I'd sure hate too, as I've always wanted a system for my GS. I just got to get my shit together and get it done.
If I did decide to sell it, I'll keep you in mind. I have a couple racing buddies who would love to have it too.

As some others, I too am only in the hope and dream stage. I live in Chilliwack, Yarrow actually, get out to Mission often. !990 Slingy 1100. I have been very interested in turboing something. Almost did the wifes KZ1000 two years ago, but then bought a house, renos you know the story. Hope to be out in Mission this August but I'm not certain. Sure would like to find some Old Schoolers to ride with out here. All my buddies are ridin HD couches. I'm sure a little turbo exposure and I'd be building. Cheers, Terry

Hey Terry, drop me a pm if ya want to ride. I've a few mates I ride with that have oldskoolers, no doubt there will be some rides up Baker this year and perhaps an overnighter or two up to the Kootanys.
